What is the Nonprofit Assistance Center?

The Center helps groups to enhance their internal capacities by providing culturally competent training and mentoring for organizations' staffs and leaders.

NAC's Mission

NAC's mission is to empower communities by building strong nonprofits and community leaders and to shape institutions and policies to achieve social justice and equity.

We influence and guide the practice of the nonprofit sector and other institutions through our technical assistance, training, leadership development and community-based research and evaluation.

NAC Priorities

We prioritize our services to communities in the Puget Sound Region that historically and/or currently have least access to resources, including but not limited to communities of color, low income and refugee and immigrant communities. NAC supports and fosters the development of emerging, small and midsize nonprofits, and current and future community leaders. NAC also works with the broader nonprofit sector and public and private institutions in order to effect system level change toward achieving equity.

The Nonprofit Assistance Center is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
